MUSCAT -- Following the success of its mobile banking application and the ease with which it promotes seamless banking transactions, BankDhofar now offers the service in Arabic. The bank's new mobile banking application is ready for download on the App Store for iPhones, Google Play for Android and BlackBerry devices.

The new feature is in response to growing patronage of the bank's Arabic speaking clientele, "It also demonstrates yet again how BankDhofar, through its out-of-the-box thinking constantly has its finger on the pulse of the people.

The Arabic version of our mobile banking app is bound to see increased registration for the product as well as attract new customers," says Marwan Mohammed al Zadjali, Head of eBanking at BankDhofar.

BankDhofar's increasingly multicultural customers will stand to benefit from the full range of the bank's products and services. The application enables customers to initiate financial and non-financial transactions such as account summaries and mini-statements, funds transfers, utility bill payment, mobile recharge, card less cash, check exchange rates and prayer timings, locate branches, ATMs and CDMs and much more.

"The newly available mobile feature fills a crucial requirement for banking services on-the-go in an era where technologies and trends merge," added Marwan al Zadjali, "it also gives the bank a leading edge in developing products that change lives as much as it challenges the competition."

BankDhofar has facilitated ease of use and a rich variety of services. These include exclusive new benefits such as payment of credit cards including American Express, making payments and donations to charities and civil society organisations, third party account transfers, statement checks, cheque book requisition, utility payment and mobile credit recharge.
