KANOO Travel has renewed its agreement to use the Sabre GDS (global distribution system) reservations system marketed by Gulf Air under the name Falcon Travel Information System (Falcon).
The three-year contract, ratifying Kanoo's continued use of Falcon, was signed yesterday in Bahrain.
" Linked to a worldwide GDS, Falcon enables Kanoo Travel to cost-effectively research, shop for and buy airline seats and secure hotel room reservations, rent cars, cruises and much more," said Yahya Buali, head of Falcon sales, Gulf Air.
Falcon represents the industry's leading GDS. It enhances the ability of travel- agency operators to better serve customers through a broad array of products and services the system provides which are all geared to facilitate requirements related to travel.
" Our continued use of Falcon is a demonstration of how we are using technology to provide the 'Kanoo Way' of customer service which is renowned throughout the region as the hallmark of dependability and quality which our customers expect and demand," said Fawzi Kanoo, the Kanoo Travel's deputy chairman.
The company is part of Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Group of Companies.
