Muscat: Sohar Aluminium will hold an aluminium industry gathering at the Al Bustan Palace Hotel between February 5 and 6.
The event, which will be held under the patronage of Gulf Aluminium Council, will have Garry Jones, the chief executive officer of London Metal Exchange (LME), as the key speaker. His Highness Sayyid Taimur bin Asad bin Tariq Al Said will be the chief guest.
The event is an excellent opportunity to showcase Oman's prowess, not only in the aluminium producing sector but also will offer the platform to promote the country, its businesses, its industries and future development prospects.
The key decision makers from around the globe will be in attendance at this dinner event and will have a chance to explore future businesses and investment opportunities in Oman.

On the sidelines of the event, the board of directors of the Gulf Aluminium Council (GAC) comprising all the chief executive officers of aluminium smelters in the Gulf will meet in Muscat to discuss issues of common interest and ways of strengthening the cooperation between aluminium industries in the Gulf.
