The Higher Council for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities (HCD), on Thursday signed an agreement with the Ministry of Social Development and the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) to support programmes for people with disabilities, according to an HCD statement. HRH Prince Raad, HCD president, Minister of Social Development Hala Lattouf, and ASEZA Chief Commissioner Mohammad Saqr signed the agreement, which aims to provide comprehensive and qualitative services to people with ?isabilities (PWD) in Aqaba Governorate and improve the standards of current services, according to the statement. Under the agreement, all parties will plan training programmes and identify the specific needs of PWD in Aqaba, with ASEZA bearing the cost of HCD and ministry programmes and their follow-up measures.
