Abu Dhabi, 19th April 2015: Mubadala is set to launch a new urban living experience in the heart of Abu Dhabi, with residential sales at Rosewood Abu Dhabi and Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi planned for the second half of 2015.

More than 140 apartments at Rosewood Abu Dhabi and Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi, which is due to open in 2016, will be made available for sale offering residents five-star luxury combined with walkability, convenience, and connectivity, in one of the GCC's leading cities.

The spacious waterfront apartments feature exclusive privileges and round-the-clock services of a five-star hotel. Guests will enjoy access to a full spectrum of dining destinations, leisure facilities, a concierge service, 24-hour in-room dining and a climate-controlled passage to The Galleria on Al Maryah Island - Abu Dhabi's premium shopping destination.

The inspiration for the Rosewood Abu Dhabi tower, designed by Handel Architects, is derived from the glistening Arabian Gulf and the vast desert that surrounds Abu Dhabi city. The Rosewood Abu Dhabi Residences offer a sophisticated and warm residential style of living, with 73 one, two and three bedroom apartments in addition to three penthouses for sale. The elegant and spacious accommodation at the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi, due for completion in 2016, will feature 69 one, two, three and four bedroom apartments and duplexes, plus two penthouses.

Visitors to Cityscape Abu Dhabi from 21st to 23rd April 2015 can register their interest and receive an exclusive glimpse of designs and floor plates of the residential units at the Mubadala Development Company stand, located at AB30 in the atrium between halls 4 and 5.

Ali Eid AlMheiri, Executive Director of Mubadala Real Estate & Infrastructure said: "As Abu Dhabi's international financial center, Al Maryah Island continues to come alive as a thriving urban hub at the heart of the UAE's capital. The impending launch of the residential sales signifies the next exciting phase in the development of this vibrant community that is modelled on the world's most established international mixed-use developments.

"Al Maryah Island's designation as a financial free zone means this rare opportunity to acquire residential units on the Island is open to UAE and GCC nationals and expatriates. Some of the residences in Rosewood Abu Dhabi are already occupied by tenants who enjoy living and working on the Island, which offers an attractive proposition to investors in a location that achieves premium residential rents in Abu Dhabi."

Situated within the capital's international financial center - Abu Dhabi Global Market Square - residents can get into their stride and beat the traffic by walking to work. Apart from quality of life for residents, it offers an attractive opportunity for investors who want to buy in a lively urban location. Abu Dhabi Global Market Square is already home to 50 global blue chip companies and features four Grade A commercial towers alongside the headquarters of Abu Dhabi Global Market. Other new headquarter buildings are also underway for Al Hilal Bank and National Bank of Abu Dhabi.

Residents will have the highest volume of luxury retail in Abu Dhabi on their doorstep with access to The Galleria on Al Maryah Island. Global brands such as Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Dior, Gucci, Prada, Alexander McQueen and Jimmy Choo among other are combined with a mix of mid-market international and speciality retailers. And, when it's time to unwind, a comprehensive array of over 25 licensed and unlicensed chef-driven restaurants and cafes including Zuma, Bentley Bistro & Bar, Almaz by Momo, Emporia Armani Café and Magnolia Bakery will tease the taste buds. Residents can also dine on the finest global cuisines at the Rosewood Abu Dhabi which has now opened all nine of its restaurants and lounges, with the recent launch of Dai Pai Dong, which serves up authentic Cantonese street food, straight from Hong Kong.

Al Maryah Island's waterfront promenade is the perfect location to mingle with family and friends and has played host to some of Abu Dhabi's most exciting celebrations with a spectacular fireworks display on New Year's Eve. The addition of Caboodle at The Galleria on Al Maryah Island, an exciting indoor haven for children where the focus is providing 'edutainment', adds an element of family fun.

Further retail and leisure offerings are on the horizon. With the upcoming opening of Al Maryah Central, a 200,000 square meter world class shopping center in 2018, Al Maryah Island will become a regional shopping and hospitality destination offering over 500 retail brands and a multitude of entertainment options.

The Island is also home to multi-specialty hospital, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, as well as first-rate amenities and infrastructure, connecting communities and creating a unique urban lifestyle in Abu Dhabi.
