BAGHDAD: The first floating terminal will increase oil exports to 2,4 million b/d, an oil ministry spokesman said today.
BAGHDAD: The first floating terminal will increase oil exports to 2,4 million b/d, an oil ministry spokesman said today.
Spokesman Asim Jihad said to journalists that the terminal will have a capacity of 85,000-900,000 b/d, within a ministerial plan to construct five terminals in future.
He added that the ministry aims at exporting 5 million b/d in the coming few years.
Jihad disclosed that 16 big tanks are under construction with a capacity of 350,000 b/d.
Earlier today, Iraqi Premier Nouri al-Maliki inaugurated the floating terminal in Basra province.
