Tehran - Iran's gas exports has risen by 13.6 percent making up for over 20.3 billion cubic meters under President Hassan Rouhani administration.

Managing Director of National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) Hamid-Reza Araqi said that durable exports of gas had won international trust.

He said that in the past three years, gas yield of joint reserves in South Pars gas field rose, thus increasing the gas delivery percentage to various sectors, including power plants and industries.

He added that the success in gas production increase has led to optimization of energy consumption and air pollution control.
