CAIRO (Zawya Dow Jones)--Egypt's Orascom Construction Industries, or OCI, said Wednesday it has been awarded a $181 million contract for work on a 1,500 megawatt combined cycle power plant in Giza.
"The project was awarded by the Cairo Electricity Production Co. and is expected to be complete in approximately 32 months," OCI said in an emailed statement.
OCI shares last traded Wednesday 0.9% higher at EGP250.
