UAE - With the aim to support the comprehensive and sustainable development process, the Department of Economic Development – Ajman’s (DED – Ajman) Directorate of Control and Consumer Protection has collaborated with the Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPD – Ajman) to set up a joint team to organize health and environmental activities in line with the highest international standards and best practices. The strategic move was taken during the recent coordination meeting to define the functions of the new team, which will be responsible for identifying general and specific requirements related to health and environmental activities, as well as conducting joint inspection campaigns to ensure continuous economic activity and reduce its negative impact.
