Officers from the Residency Affairs Department detected 16 closed companies having 116 employees under their sponsorship, in addition to a bogus domestic recruitment agency, and arrested four African housemaids whose sponsors have registered absconding cases against them. The four Africans confessed working on daily wages during investigation. Necessary legal action will be taken against them.

Police hunt culprit: Police are looking for a youngster who appeared in a video clip that went viral on social media in which he was seen slapping and humiliating a boy inside one of the toilets of a commercial complex and dismissing him from the place along with other boys.

According to security sources, police managed to identify the victim and are exerting efforts to identify the youngster who attacked him. They said, The incident as it appears in the video is in violation of the Child Protection Act. The sources affirmed that detectives from the Criminal Investigations Department are following up those who violate the laws and bring them to the competent legal authority. They revealed that the victims family is planning to file a case against the culprit, so that he will be tracked down, arrested, referred for interrogation and the law can be applied on him so that his punishment serves as a deterrent to anyone who violates laws
