KUWAIT- The price of Kuwaiti crude oil went up by 4 cents to settle at US$59.18 per barrel, compared to $59.14 per barrel last Monday, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation said on Wednesday.

According to the Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, in world markets, oil prices were up yesterday due to expectations of an extension to the agreement by OPEC members to lower production during their meeting next week.

Brent Oil crude, mixed, was up by 35 cents to $60.57, while US Western Texas crude was up by 41 cents to settle at $56.83 per barrel.
