Abu Dhabi - In line with the future visions and aspirations of the Emirate of transforming Abu Dhabi to a smart and sustainable city, the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) in Abu Dhabi, announces that starting from Sunday, October 24, 2021, inspectors will stop printing public parking tickets in the emirate and issue them electronically instead. E-tickets will now appear via text messages including all necessary details pertaining to the violation.

This initiative supports the process of digital transformation in the services of the ITC and the expansion of the base of smart services all while being in line with the efforts undertaken by ITC to protect the environment.

ITC urges the public to ensure that the contact information contains a valid phone number should they receive any public parking violations notification. This step will also enable them to benefit from the 25% discount in case the e-ticket fine has been paid within 30 days of issuance.

For more inquiries, customers can contact DMT’s Service Support Centre on the toll-free number 800850. Additionally, all details of the e-ticket can be viewed and paid for online through ITC’s website www.itc.gov.ae
