On Wednesday 27th November, home-grown concept, CHINGÓN Dubai, opened its doors with a number of Dubai socialites joining the celebration.

Touted as a Modern Mexican Eatery, the venue plays host to a number of different features and elements. From high ceilings and a beautiful, dimly lit interior bar which pays homage to the Mayans, to the outdoor terrace with its Aztec inspired wall lights and the city views over Dubai Canal, across Business Bay as well as the Downtown Area.

The venue was officially opened by H.E Mrs Francisca Méndez, Ambassador of Mexico to the United Arab Emirates, whom drove down especially from her residence in Abu Dhabi for the special occasion.

Also in attendance was former Ambassador of Mexico to the UAE and now current advisor to International Participants for Latin America at EXPO2020, Mr Francisco Alonso. They were also joined by Mr. Manuel González, former Foreign Minister of Costa Rica, who stopped by to join in the festivities before his flight.

Co-founders and concept developers, Mark Eggberry, Garth Beer and Chef Rene Millan, have been in Dubai for a number of years specialising in the pre-opening of F&B concepts for local companies such as Whissle Hospitality, White Label, Crystal Group, Bull & Roo, The First Group and Gates Hospitality to name a few. CHINGÓN Dubai is the trio’s first venture that they have put their names to with passion and attention to detail showing through.

CHINGÓN Dubai is situated on Level R in the Grand Millennium Hotel Business Bay and is open daily from 6pm to late.
