Cairo – Signify (Euronext: LIGHT), the world leader lighting, is proud to be partaking in Art D’Egypte Forever Is Now Exhibition that will take place on October 23 at the Giza Pyramids Plateau. Signify’s lighting allows the organization to showcase the artworks in the best way possible. The supplied lighting solutions were uniquely designed to enhance the concept of each artwork to complete the artists’ ideas, by lending fixtures with the artwork and site conditions.

Signify sponsored all the lighting of the exhibition starting with the 10 artworks that will be displayed at the exhibition through the main passages and to the routes leading to these artworks and exhibition. The company designed, supplied, and instaled66 luminaries varying from graze light, floodlight, and spotlighting. It also illuminated the main route using around 720 floodlights, while sub-routes leading to the artworks were lit using 115 luminaires, and around 25 pieces for artworks and signages.

Signify’s lighting solutions meet the latest standards of international art exhibitions, striking the perfect balance between presenting art and preserving it. It enables the presentation of each work of art in its true colors, subtly attracting and guiding the viewer’s eye, making it easy to see, interpret and appreciate works of art down to the smallest detail. Furthermore, while delivering maximum light output, the floodlight has an excellent thermal management system that helps maximize lifetime and minimize maintenance costs to ensure sustainability.

Art D’Égypte’s fourth annual exhibition, Forever Is Now, shall be held under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities and Tourism, Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the patronage of UNESCO, making it an unforgettable encounter with the union of art, history, and heritage. In parallel to the exhibition, Art D’Égypte brings, for the first time in Egypt, AI-DA, the world’s first ultra-realistic Artificial Intelligence (AI) robot. As a machine, with Artificial Intelligence capabilities, its artist persona is the artwork, along with its drawings, paintings, performance art, and sculptures.

“We, at Signify, are thrilled to be taking part in this important exhibition. It is the first of its kind in 4500 years. The exhibition represents a merging of ancient heritage and contemporary art at the oldest and last remaining of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, which today survives as a UNESCO world heritage site,” said Karim Mosaad, Commercial Director - Projects Business in Northeast Africa.

"Signify has been working with clients and partners in Egypt and the world across tens of industries, tailoring its products to cater to the individual unique needs of each project. Most recently, we installed LED lighting in the recently inaugurated Ahmed Helmy 2 Tunnel, in which Signify used the latest lighting systems that match international specifications to enable remote control of lighting while delivering up to 70% energy savings,” he added.
