Egypt, Cairo - Shell Egypt is set to participate in the fourth edition of the Egypt Petroleum Show (EGYPS 2020). The event will be held from 11 to 13 February under the patronage of His Excellency Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and support of H.E Eng. Tarek El-Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.

During the exhibition, Shell Egypt will showcase a number of the latest technologies and solutions of value-added projects for natural gas employed by Shell locally and globally.

The company will also display its social investment programs, which include: Shell Intilaaqah Program, NXplorers, Shell Eco-Marathon Competition, Imagine the Future Competition, in addition to Al-Amal Program, which Shell Egypt is the main sponsor of since its launch in 2007.

At the company’s booth, visitors will be able to witness a group of technical and interactive sessions, as well as a set of live technology and interactive presentations.

During EGYPS 2020, Shell Vice President Commercial & New Business Development for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Houda Dabbousi will be speaking at the strategic conference panel, along with other policymakers and members of international institutions who will be sharing their vision about the petroleum sector in Egypt and the region.

Joining Shell speakers at the event is Mr. Chee Tsong Chok, General Manager Safety and Environment Conventional Oil and Gas, at the HSE in Energy Conference. Ms. Yasmine El Sayegh, General Manager - Commercial Excellence will share her experience at the Women in Energy Conference.

Shell Egypt is shortlisted for the “Best Health and Safety Project of the Year”. The award recognizes outstanding and impactful HSE projects that help achieve sustainable development by protecting the environment and ensuring health and safety standards in all stages of exploration, production, refining, distribution, shipping and marketing in the oil and gas sector.

It is also worth mentioning that Shell has been participating in EGYPS as a Diamond sponsor since 2017, as part of the company's commitment to strengthen its partnership with the Egyptian government. In addition to its aim to

focus efforts to sustain the oil and gas sector’s development, which will help increase current investments and attract potential investments.
