During Earth Day 2018, the largest civic-focused day of action in the world, QIB partnered with Al Sulaiteen Agricultural and Industrial Complex (SAIC) to distribute 450 free plants to the public in five of its biggest branches. The plants were offered to customers in QIB’s Corporate Branch, Salwa road branch, Al Gharafa branch (Q-Mall), Fanar branch, and the old Airport road branch.

Commenting on the day, QIB’s Group CEO, Bassel Gamal, stated “Here at QIB, we understand the impact corporations can have on social and environmental issues such as reducing pollution, emission, and waste. The wellbeing of the environment we live in is important to us, and our Bank’s community services mirror this sense of responsibility. We implemented these activities and participate in the 2018 Earth Day to encourage a greener way of living for all.”
