DUBAI - Omans's OQ Group exported its first shipment from its Salalah Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Plant to the global markets, Oman's official news agency ONA reported on Wednesday.

The shipment consisted of 5,000 tones of propane and the same amount of butane.

OQ's LPG plant in Salalah in the south of the country cost $826 million, and is the first of its kind to process gas in the Sultanate to extract LPG and condensates from the OQ gas network.
