Assiut: Eng. Mohamed Farouk Aly, founder of Nile Angels announced the launch of "Nile Angels", the Assiut based Angel Network consisting of the finest group of founding members, with an impressive experience in business and a passion for the wellbeing of entrepreneurial ecosystem. The new network aims to invest in promising, creative early stage startups in the Upper Egypt region from this year onwards. The announcement came in Assiut during Techne Drifts, the leading Egyptian entrepreneurial roadshow.

Believing in the vital role they can play in the development of the start-up community in the region, Nile Angels investors are eager to help talented motivated startups to guarantee their sustainability.

Stressing on the significance of Angel Investors for the whole entrepreneurial ecosystem, Eng. Mohamed Farouk explained that "Nile Angels" is ready to accept startup business plans. "Nile Angels" long anticipated birth arises thanks to the fruitful and effective collaboration between the founding members, Techne Drifts and the “Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit” (GIZ) on behalf of the German Government, who has been supporting young entrepreneurs and SMEs in Egypt for several years.
