Muscat: Adding to the diverse range of services available to corporate customers via its digital channels, Maisarah Islamic Banking Services – BankDhofar’s Islamic banking window - has launched a new “Bulk Payment” facility that allows public institutions and private sector companies to initiate large payments anytime and anywhere through Internet Banking.

Marwan Mohammed Al Zadjali, Head of Digital Banking at Maisarah, stressed that the new service was introduced to meet the needs and requirements of organizations conducting bulk payments and salary transfers. “This adds to the existing types of payment specific to corporate customers, and it allows public departments have access to salary transfer and other bulk payment options, while private companies already have access to transfer salaries through the Wage Protection System (WPS),” he noted.

Elaborating on the new service, Fawaz Rajab Al Ojaili, Maisarah’s Head of Wholesale Banking, said: “We strive to provide tailor-made Sharia-compliant financial solutions and we are committed to offer the highest quality of products and services that add to the convenience of our customers and meet their requirements. Hence, our internet banking platform is designed to allow users to conduct transactions at their comfort, anywhere and anytime.”
