AMMAN — The Jordan University Hospital on Saturday suspended visits until further notice after two staff members were tested positive to COVID-19 recently.

The hospital also closed its endoscopy unit until Sunday for sterilisation purposes. Patient admissions were suspended for 48 hours as of Saturday morning, the hospital said in a statement cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

It also added that outpatient appointments will remain unchanged through the online platform, and no outpatients will be received without appointments except for emergencies, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
