DHL, the world’s leading international express services provider, has launched shoplebanon.online, a new website designed to showcase Lebanon’s products to the world. This initiative was conceived by DHL’s MENA Marketing team and DHL Lebanon to support the Lebanese economy by providing an online platform for local merchants to gain cross border exposure for their brands.

Shoplebanon.online hosts a number of Lebanese specialty stores who ship their products globally with DHL, and provides customers around the world with a seamless one-stop-shop customer experience.

Country Manager of DHL Express Lebanon, John Chedid, said: “Lebanon is home to a deep pool of talent that has created a vibrant e-commerce sector. DHL is working to ensure that this talent can gain more exposure globally. Shoplebanon.online, aims to connect Lebanese merchants to international audiences, and provide them with new means to expand their businesses and gain access to multiple markets.”

“We have always sought to create new opportunities for local businesses to expand their reach and presence, and contribute to boosting the economy. We believe that in our quest to bring Lebanon and its products to the world, this website will create increased prospects for Lebanese business owners and online shoppers alike.”

The magazine-inspired interface makes it easy for shoppers to browse the site’s collection of vendors, ranging from house-ware to fashion & beauty to specialty foods, allowing users to search for and locate their favourite Lebanese brands. It also allows shoppers to benefit from DHL’s shipping and delivery services, ensuring that their products are delivered on time, every time.
