Abu Dhabi authorities have released an update for guidelines concerning entry into Abu Dhabi.

Those leaving Abu Dhabi for short periods may visit a screening centre in the emirate to conduct a Covid-19 test before departing. The result for the same can be presented to the authorities on return.

The result would be valid for entry into Abu Dhabi if it is received within 48 hours.

Presenting the test result more than 48 hours after receipt, will not be considered valid. A new test will have to be taken outside the emirate in this case.

The test can be undertaken at any hospital or screening centre affiliated with the National Screening Programme, in order to comply with the requirement of presenting a valid test result, received within 48 hours of entering Abu Dhabi.
