A high-level delegation of Ajman Free Zone led by its Acting Director General Ms Fatima Salem attended the World Free Zones Organization’s 4th Annual International Conference & Exhibition, which concluded in Dubai on Tuesday.
Other top officials of the Ajman Free Zone (AFZ) joined Ms. Fatima Salem at the two-day event in Dubai were Ms. Bashair Al Kamiti, Executive Director of Strategy Management Office; Ms. Sheikha Al Nuaimi, Executive Director of Investment Sector; and Mr. Abdul Rahman Al Janahi, Executive Director of the Property Sector.
With the theme of ‘Free Zone 10X The Path to Prosperity’, the event hosted the world’s leading policy-makers, industry experts, business leaders and academics. It was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The two-day confluence of delegates from over 100 countries led to lively and robust discussions in panels, meetings and workshops to shape best practices and foster public awareness about the role and contribution to economic growth by free zones.
“The event was a great opportunity to connect with industry experts and get knowledge about the future roles and responsibilities of free zones within a dynamic global economy,” Ajman Free Zone Acting Director General Ms Fatima Salem said after attending the event.

Established in 1988, AFZ leading to massive industrial development in Ajman by attracting a great number of companies to benefit from the investment privileges, thereby strengthening industry and trade and the financial sector in the UAE.
