Mazoon Electricity Company organises awareness campaign to encourage use of online bill payment channels

Muscat: Building on its core focus of customer centricity, Mazoon Electricity Company has been running an awareness campaign to encourage the use of electronic channels for bill payments.

Constantly improving customer service through adoption of new technology, Mazoon Electricity offers several smart, hassle-free and interactive options to pay the bills. Customers can pay their bill online from anywhere by accessing their account through the Mazoon Electricity’s e-channels. They can pay their electricity bills through mobile applications of companies such as ONEIC, OIFC, Nama or any self-service kiosks like MZEC, ONEIC & OIFC. Customers can also pay through electronic portal:  https://oss.nama.om.

As part of the awareness campaign, Mazoon Electricity team has been meeting with customers to guide them on how to use the e-channels.

Currently, with Mazoon Electricity receiving a considerable percentage of payment through online modes, the company is proud to contribute to the Digital Oman Strategy, which promises to transform the country into a digitally empowered society by focusing on digital resources and collaborative platforms.

To enhance its efforts to protect the environment and simplify the process of payment for customers, Mazoon Electricity has also been encouraging the use of “Green Bill”, which is an electronic version of the paper bill. As part of the Green Bill service initiative, customers receive their latest bill through monthly emails.

With the activation of the online paperless billing facility, Mazoon Electricity continues its efforts to reduce carbon footprint, promote sustainability and urges customers to consider the environmental impact of their actions. In addition, Green Bill also provides customers with a secure and hassle-free method of receiving and paying their bills from the comforts of their homes or offices.
