MARC unveils new brand identity

The top blue line in the logo represents the company's ambitions as it seeks to expand into new business segments

  

Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad (MARC) has unveiled its new look and identity with a refreshed logo that encapsulates its aspirations as a modern and progressive credit rating agency. 

The top blue line in the logo represents the company’s ambitions as it seeks to expand into new business segments. The bottom blue line symbolises MARC’s strong foundation formed over 25 years of operations as a credit rating institution. The red font colour embodies MARC’s enduring values of strength, trust and stability. 

Group Chief Executive Officer Datuk Jamaludin Nasir said the refreshed logo was a visual representation of MARC’s core values, identity and vision. “In conjunction with our 25th anniversary, we look forward to solidifying our position with a brand new look and identity to deliver critical and bespoke market intelligence to our stakeholders.”

The logo’s evolution represents MARC’s journey towards becoming a progressive and vibrant credit rating agency by its three-pronged approach of embracing technology, remaining agile and adapting to the ever-changing business environment. This progression also allows MARC to create further value for all its stakeholders.  

The credit rating agency also announced its new tagline – Solutions Beyond Risk, which represents MARC’s commitment and focus to be a bespoke provider across its offerings, encompassing ratings, learning, solutions, data and analytics.
