DUBAI- Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC), on Thursday received a lowest offer of 13,500 Egyptian pounds ($851.74) per tonne for 4,000 tonnes of soybean oil at a local purchasing tender.

The offer was presented by Wataniya.

Egypt's GASC is seeking soyoil and sunflower oil in a local tender for delivery Feb 25 to March 10.

GASC is seeking at least 3,000 tonnes of soyoil and 2,000 tonnes of sunflower oil.

No offers for sunflower oil were submitted and results are expected later on Thursday.

Traders gave the following breakdown of the offers:

* El Maged Co: 4,000 tonnes of soybean oil at 14,500 pounds ($914.83)

* Evergreen Co: 3,000 tonnes of soybean oil at 14,770 pounds ($931.86)

* Wataniya: 4,000 tonnes of soybean oil at 13,500 pounds ($851.74)
