ArabFinance: Egypt Gas (EGAS) turned to profitability in the first half (H1) of 2021, with a net profit after tax of EGP 23.89 million, against a net loss of EGP 43.40 million in H1 2020, according to the companys financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

Operating revenue amounted to EGP 2.25 billion during the six-month period ended June 30th, up from EGP 1.42 billion in H1 2020.

Earnings per share (EPS) stood at EGP 0.50 in H1 2021, versus a loss per share of EGP 0.90 in the prior-year period.

Egypt Gas is an Egypt-based shareholding company engaged in the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of natural gas distribution networks and pressure reduction stations for domestics, commercial, and industrial applications.
