RIYADH — People registered in the “Sehhaty” app will not be vaccinated with the anti-COVID-19 vaccine simultaneously with the jabs they are taking for other diseases, like measles and flu (influenza), unless there is a gap of at least 14 days before and after the anti-coronavirus vaccine, the Ministry of Health announced.

The Health Ministry disclosed that there are no data about giving the coronavirus vaccine in conjunction with other vaccines, stressing that receiving the coronavirus vaccine will be separate, with an interval of at least 14 days before or after taking the vaccines for other diseases.

The ministry advised all beneficiaries that before taking the coronavirus vaccine, they ought to disclose on the occurrence of any allergic reaction to any of the vaccines that had previously taken.

They should also disclose their medical history in detail and whether the patient is suffering from a chronic disease such as diabetes, high blood pressure or asthma, the degree of control over the chronic disease, and the treatment plan the patient is receiving at present.
