RIYADH — The Ministry of Health announced that Saudi Arabia has topped the G20 countries in a set of test indicators, and has exceeded (30,000,000) of COVID-19 tests, as it contributed to limiting the spread of the pandemic.

The Ministry of Health said that the World Health Organization (WHO), since the beginning of the pandemic, has recommended to expand the COVID-19 tests as its important in early detection to reduce the spread of the cases and to reach health stability, security.

The ministry stated that the Kingdom topped the G20 countries in:

• Expanded tests policies, which embodies the ease the services accessibility for all citizens and residents.

• The speed in issuing the test results, as it resulted in record numbers that contributed to supporting preventive measures.

• The positive growth ratio improved with the procedure rate indicators for each positive case, which effectively contributed to controlling the pandemic.
