540 new Covid-19 cases registered in Bahrain on Sunday

Bahrain yesterday registered 540 new cases, alongside 651 recoveries. The Health Ministry revealed that of yesterday’s 540 new cases, 109 were expatriate workers, 424 contacts of local cases and seven travel-related.

It said an additional 651 people recovered from Covid-19 yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 57,950.

The ministry added that of the 6,868 active cases, 146 were receiving treatment and 52 in critical condition.

Bahrain has so far registered a total of 65,039 cases, including active cases, recoveries and deaths. The kingdom has also conducted 1,333,275 tests for Covid-19.
