Muscat: A fine of OMR 1,000 will be charged if you’re caught throwing waste at public places, Muscat Municipality said on Thursday.
According to the Municipality, the fine will be doubled for repeated offenders.
A statement issued by Muscat Municipality said: “ A fine of 1,000 O.R and doubled upon repetition against the violation of all who throw waste in space, open spaces or valleys according to the Administrative Decision No. (55/2017) regarding fixing penalties for violations of the Muscat Municipality.”
