Kuwait's civil aviation authority has revoked the licence of Kuwait National Airways, which is known as Wataniya Airways, for failing to address operational issues that led to delays and cancellations last summer, al-Jarida reported on Saturday.

Wataniya had its licence to operate flights suspended for three months in September after more than 1,500 of its passengers were left stranded in foreign countries because of cancellations, state-run Kuwait News Agency said.
