Saudi Arabia - STC has deployed its 5G network at 196 sites in Makkah, Madinah and other holy places, such as Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah. The company aims to provide superior services to the Hajj pilgrims, in addition to serving the participating sectors. STC is offering a range of services, technologies and digital solutions for Hajj 2019.

The telecom giant is also providing 230 vehicles for network technical support along with 55 maintenance centers and 50 emergency technical teams, working around the clock to serve pilgrims and various sectors operating in the pilgrimage.

STC is operating more than 190 service centers across many locations such as airports, accommodations for pilgrims and points of sale, which are equipped with electronic recharge technology, as well as 20 sales platforms between Mina and Arafat.

In terms of after-sales service, the company is providing free of charge services around the clock to pilgrims, such as activation of SIM cards, technical support and others.

The company is also distributing free umbrellas and water bottles in all locations that the pilgrims pass through for the Hajj rituals.
