MANAMA: Members of Bahrain’s buoyant Indian expat community looking to invest in property back home will have the chance to check out the latest developments in the country at a special show in the kingdom.

The Great India Property Festival (GIPF) provides a global platform for Indian real estate developers to showcase their properties to the non-resident Indian (NRI) communities across the world.

“Now it's Bahrain’s time to explore the power of Indian real estate investment. There is such a vast variety of quality properties available and this event offers a unique opportunity for visitors to explore what is on offer, all under one roof. They will not be disappointed,” Shekhar Bhardwaj, Project Director of GIPF said.

The Indian Real Estate Exhibition will be staged from 11am to 5pm on November 22 & 23 at the Gulf Hotel Bahrain Convention & Spa in Manama.

Financiers say that people of Indian birth, descent or origin who live outside the Republic of India are constantly looking at opportunities to enhance their investment portfolios using their ‘significant remittances’ back home.

Property developers are hoping to attract mid-to-senior expat professionals employed in industries such as banking and other financial sectors, IT, shipping, oil and gas, logistics, traders and also those that own their own businesses in the kingdom.

Many in the 30 to 55 age group living in Bahrain are also keen to buy properties as an investment and also to use as a base when they fly back for business reasons or to visit family and friends, analysts suggest.

GIPF 2019 is organised by Gentlemen Circle Pvt. Ltd., in association with Pegasus Real Estate. Dadabhai Travels is the exclusive travel partner to the event.
