Abu Dhabi - Al Noor Hospitals Group is pleased to announce the 2nd edition of the International Management Conference of Al Noor Hospital (IMCAN) under the distinguished patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development. More than 200 participants are expected to take part in the one-day IMCAN, which will be held at the Sheraton CornicheHotel & ResortAbu Dhabi.

With the theme being "Developing the Healthcare Leaders of Tomorrow", the conference will target healthcare C-suites, Directors, Human Resources Managers, mid-level hospital managers, Healthcare Executives, Head of Departments, Quality Managers, Revenue Cycle Specialists, Finance Managers and IT professionals from various healthcare facilities across the UAE.

Ronald Lavater, Chief Executive Officer of Al Noor Hospitals Group and IMCAN President said, "This conference represents Al Noor's commitment to bringing continuing education, not only to medical personnel in the UAE, but also to the administrative leaders of our healthcare institutions." Lavater continues, "Leadership requires a skillset that is learned and developed over the course of one's career and many of these skills are unique to the healthcare sector. As healthcare leaders we are responsible for the quality of care and patient safety for the communities in which we work. And as the levels of healthcare and patient safety evolve, our role as managers must evolve as well."

Dr. Sami Alom, Chief Strategy Officer of Al Noor Hospitals Group and the Conference Director said, "The Conference brings together distinguished speakers from both the public and private sectorsto share their insightful views and experiences and to provide four different sessions designed to highlight various topics related to the development of leadership in healthcare."

"The conference will kick-off with the 'Healthcare Leaders' Career Perspective' session followed by the 'Encouraging UAE Nationals to take up careers in Healthcare' and 'Young Executives' Perspective sessions and will end with the 'Nurturing Human Capital in Healthcare' session," concluded Dr.Alom.

IMCAN will invite distinguished speakers from the Higher Colleges of Technology, Al Corniche Hospital, Cleveland Clinic, Ambulatory Health Services (SEHA), American Hospital Dubai, Etihad Airways, The Talent Enterprise and Al Noor Hospitals Group.
