TPConnects is certified by IATA as an IT Vendor Capable of delivering NDC products and services for airlines, distributors & agents and as an aggregator TPConnects NDC Platform successfully covered the capability of consuming APIs from airlines and deploying to the distributors

Dubai, UAE: TPConnects, the technology solution provider to the global travel trade has received dual Level 3 (highest level within the system with end-to-end) certifications from the International Air Transport Association (IATA). IATA certified that TPConnects as an IT Vendor is capable of offering NDC products and services for airlines, travel agencies and other distributors and as an Aggregator, TPConnects can consume and deploy NDC APIs deployed by any airlinefor the latest PADIS Publication 15.2 Schemas.

NDC (New Distribution Capability) is a travel industry-supported program launched by IATA for the development and market adoption of a new, XML-based data transmission standard for communications between airlines and travel agents.

The NDC Standard will help travel agents and online travel agencies to service their customers better. It will do this by enabling travel agents to have access to rich content that is available on airline websites, but that may not be directly available to agents today owing to technology limitations. This content caninclude fuller product descriptionsincluding pictures and videos; access to ancillary options; and the ability for a traveler to have his or her loyalty status recognized when shopping via a travel agent or online travel site. As a result, air travelers will benefit from greater transparency when shopping via a travel agent with the ability to compare and contrast full offers from different airlines, not just the base fare.

Kristine Fernandez, Director Business Development TPConnects commented, "We are glad to be the first one to receive the Level 3 certification from IATA. The certification granted by IATA as an aggregator and as an NDC-Capable IT Vendor both Level 3 (end-to-end) provides TPConnects a distinct advantage over similar IT Providers and Products as its capability, transparency and procedures are recognized to be compliant with IATA NDC Standards. TPConnects IT Developers collaborated closely with IATA NDC team to obtain the certification.

The conferment of the certification is an important recognition of TPConnects ability to support airlines and travel agencies to achieve their travel retailing objective. This is a huge endorsement of our efforts to deliver quality IT products to the global travel industry that meets international standards and recognition.

TPConnects assist airlines to retail travel products, deliver rich content and offer bundled and unbundled products. TPConnects NDC standard based Direct Connect platform integrates with any Passenger Service System of the airline, both legacy and low cost and the Aggregator product along with the merchandising engine enable airlines to sell not only airline products but also the ancillaries and non-air commissionable products like hotels, cars, insurance etc. The road map covers integration with NDC Link for BSP Payments, OAG, ATPCO and ARINC.

TPConnects NDC standard Aggregator platform for the Travel Trade enable the Travel Agents to search, compare and sell travel products including ancillary products sourced from various PSSs, GDSs, and other travel suppliers like expedia, GTA, hotelbeds etc. In addition to this TPConnects is one of the few technology providers that have integrated an Air Charter module, corporate booking & profiling tool and FFP module for Travel Agency customers. The road map covers dynamic packaging and revenue management for travel agencies. Since TPConnects is not a content provider but an IT Provider, Travel Agents will still maintain their own contracts and credentials with the suppliers, ensuring that they will not be losing their commissions or segment fees.

"We have been approached by several airlines expressing their interest to take advantage of our expertise to undertake NDC pilots and implementations.

With NDC gainingmomentum among airlines interested in ensuring that their customers have access to the full variety of customer options they have worked so hard to create, TPConnects, with fullNDC Certification, is ready to support them as they move to implement NDC," added Kristine Fernandez

TPConnects merchandising solution lets airlines create and distribute tailored customer offerings.
