Dubai - Zheng He's, the Modern Chinese restaurant located in Jumeirah Mina A'Salam, is set to reopen its doors in September, following a comprehensive restyling across all restaurant interiors.

The restaurant is set in a tranquil location overlooking the resort's waterways. Open for lunch and dinner, the new à la carte menu will showcase classical Chinese cuisine with contemporary flair. Zheng He's menu represents a carefully orchestrated culinary offering inspired by the era of Zheng He, a famed Chinese nautical explorer from the historical Ming dynasty. Paying tribute to his voyages across the seas, seafood is a key highlight on the menu and a live seafood tank ensures a fresh catch each day. Each dish on the new menu is hand-crafted by the talented team and prepared under the watchful eyes of Chef Kenmin Foo Chin Fatt. Diners can look forward to an elevated Zheng He's experience and enjoy cuisine created by the resident duck master specialist who is set to add a touch of theatre with table-side preparation.

Patrons of the original restaurant will delight in the new neo-oriental interiors and refined culinary offering which includes signature dishes such as salt baked 'Fortune Beggar Chicken', slow-cooked Oriental short ribs and a new Chinese interpretation of Zheng He's old-favourite Wasabi Prawns. The result is a dining experience that evokes China's rich culinary heritage with new innovative presentation and cooking methods.
