AMMAN — Jordan has managed to achieve the strategic goal of reaching a safe summer, including reopening all sectors and resuming in-person education as of the first semester of the upcoming academic year, through achieving the set COVID vaccination percentage, said Minister of State for Media Affairs Sakher Dudin.

The minister, who is also the government spokesperson, said: “In terms of the rate of COVID vaccination, Jordan is on a very good track.” He called for intensifying the vaccine rollout to reach the 4.5 million target, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported on Wednesday.

The minister said that the number of those who got vaccinated exceeded 2.5 million as of the beginning of July, expecting the number to increase to 4.5 million by September.
