Tehran - Iran's LPG output over the past ten months shows 40 percent increase compared with the same period last year reaching 2.288 million metric tons, said Abdolhossein Samari, deputy managing director of National Iranian Gas Company (NGC).

Launching new phases of South Pars Gas Field has caused a significance rise in the country's gas output.

Apart from launching Phase 12, which is the biggest phase of South Pars Field, Phases 15 and 16 have also become operational.

Phases 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 are also reportedly due to come on stream by the yearend.
