'Gemini Splendor' marks first of leading developer's projects in the Middle East
Dubai, UAE - Gemini Property Developers, one of the leading and prestigious business groups in India and the Middle East, has begun construction of Gemini Splendor, the first of a series of high-profile, luxury residential projects, the company plans to build in the GCC in the coming years.
Gemini Splendor joins a growing list of luxury residential buildings to be announced in Dubai in recent times. Located in the Hartland community in Dubai's Mohammed Bin Rashid (MBR) City, the iconic project with a built-up area of over 320,000 square feet is expected to be completed in early 2018.
Following its groundbreaking earlier this month, the construction work has been initiated at the site by the developers. The project will feature a total of 134 units of well-planned one, two and three-bedroom apartments, penthouses and townhouses equipped with state-of-the-art amenities. Apartment units range from 780 square feet to a spacious 3400 square feet. In addition, the building will also host comprehensive retail, shopping and entertainment facilities, along with much required green spaces.
Sudhakar R. Rao, Managing Director of Gemini Property Developers, Stated that Gemini Splendor will help in satisfying the rising demand among Dubai residents for luxury apartments built to best-in-class standards. "This milestone project marks an important phase of our entry into the real estate industry and reinforces our commitment to deliver key projects in one of the most sought-after Middle Eastern markets," he added.
The company has awarded the enabling works contract to National Piling and will be announcing the contract for the main construction soon. The company has already registered itself as a developer with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) and has opened Escrow account as per the Trust Account Law.
The project has been designed by AEDAS, one of the world's leading global architecture and design practices. AEDAS is well-known for designing all of 45 Dubai Metro stations.
Yebin Sreenivasan, Associate Director, AEDAS Middle East, said that AEDAS was happy to be part of the maiden project of Gemini Property Developers. "Gemini Splendor will be a quality addition to the residential portfolio of Dubai, with its unique architectural and spatial design and a choice palette of tasteful finishes," he pointed out.
The detailed design for the project has been executed by Dubai Consultants, a 40-year-old design group based in Dubai.
Prabhakar R. Rao, Joint Managing Director of Gemini Property Developers, added that the company will be announcing the sales and marketing plan soon.
