University undergraduates from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, seeking to improve their employment prospects, are rushing to register for the CIMA Global Business Challenge 2015, an international business competition, ahead of the entry deadline of 5 April 2015.

Registered GCC-based students will have to submit their reports by 26 April 2015. CIMA will announce the list of shortlisted universities on 17 May 2015. These universities will then be invited to present their case studies to a panel of prominent judges on 14 June 2015 at the CIMA Global Business Challenge 2015 GCC finals scheduled to be held in Dubai, UAE.

Organised by CIMA, the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, in partnership with Barclays, the Global Business Challenge is a business competition for undergraduates around the world, designed to showcase talent in business management and identify young business leaders of the future. Entrants must form a team of four people to compete. Acting as business consultants, they will analyse and solve a real-life business case study. Competitors will have a chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to Warsaw, Poland, to represent their country at the global final.

Andrew Harding, Managing Director of CIMA, said: "We believe in the importance of developing and nurturing young talent around the world. The Global Business Challenge gives students the opportunity to gain firsthand experience of business leadership. Competitors will be able to build essential business skills as well as meet with and learn from decision-makers from top employers. The opportunity will enhance their CVs and career prospects. With the deadline for entry fast approaching, we encourage students to enter now and avoid missing out."
