ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - March. 14, 2015  [ME NewsWire]: Participants in the Ministry of Interior Majils hosted by the UAE national Suhail Shaheen Al Marar at his place in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi under the theme "The Diversity of Cultures and Citizenships and its Effects on the National Identity" stressed the necessity of fostering the efforts of local media in promoting the concept of national identity among young generations of UAE citizens.

Participants called for encouraging and attracting UAE male and female citizens to work in the private sector. For their part, speakers at the awareness majlis activities organized by the Law Respect Culture Bureau of the Ministry of Interior during the year and facilitated by the media person Ali Al Shamesi from Abu Dhabi Media; called for rationing the use of manpower.

Participants agreed upon the importance of encouraging citizens to get married early, and encourage their children to enrol in Koranic Centres due to their essential role in teaching the bases and grammar of Arabic language.

They also reviewed a number of issues related to pros and cons of cultural diversity and its effect on national identity. They valued the efforts made by the Law Respect Culture Bureau in building bridges of trust and communications with the outer society.

The awareness majils was concluded with remarks given by the host Suhail Shaheen Al Marar in which he noted the importance of the Ministry's awareness majlis activities and their role in promoting communications between generations.

The event was attended by Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Director of International Organizations Department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Colonel Dr. Salah Al Ghoul, Director of Law Respect Culture Bureau; Colonel Dr. Ahmed Al Khuzaimi, Director of Police Officers Training Institute; and Dirar Balhoul, Director General of Watani Al Emarat Foundation; along with a number of UAE citizens.
