Bahrain yesterday registered 231 new Covid-19 cases, alongside 244 recoveries and one fatalities.

A 69-year-old Bahraini man died yesterday, taking the total Covid deaths to 332.

The Health Ministry revealed that of the 231 new cases, 78 were expatriate workers, 148 contacts of local cases and five travel-related.

It said an additional 244 people recovered from Covid-19, taking the total recoveries to 81,658.

Of the 2,052 active cases, 52 were receiving treatment and 27 in critical condition.

Bahrain has so far registered 84,042 cases and has conducted 1,865,380 tests.
