UAE, Dubai: The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department signed an MoU to establish a dialysis center in Al Twar area on the sidelines of the Dubai International Government Achievement Exhibition Tuesday.

The center will provide quality dialysis services to people with limited means.

HE Humaid Al Qutami, Chairman of the Board and Director General of the DHA and Dr Hamad Al Shibani, Director General of the Dubai Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department signed the MoU in the presence of officials from supporting parties from Beit Al Khair Society, Dar Al Beir Society and Dubai Charity Association.

The MoU is in line with Dubai Government’s efforts to collaborate with other authorities and government entities to provide the best health, social and humanitarian services.

Al Qutami said the authority is keen on collaborating with different entities that share the goals of the Dubai Government and vision in order to achieve customer satisfaction.

He added that this partnership would provide the best prevention and treatment services for kidney disease to people with limited means who need regular dialysis, with the support of the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department.

His Excellency expressed his appreciation to Dr Al Shaibani and thanked him for his interest and keenness to enhance the developmental efforts of the health sector in Dubai.

Dr Al Shaibani, on the other hand said the department is committed to its role, responsibilities and services to the community and its members, especially the patients.

He stressed that the department is keen to build bridges of cooperation and strengthen its relations with all institutions to serve the Government of Dubai's strategy, achieve its desired goals, and promote a climate of decent and safe living for all members of society.
