Riyadh –  Foreign investors continued to increase their purchases in the Saudi bourse during the week ended on 17 September 2020, whereas Saudi and GCC investors leaned towards selling activity.

Total buying transactions executed by foreign investors netted SAR 1.71 billion last week, while net sales by Saudi and Gulf investors recorded SAR 921.28 million and SAR 790.31 million, respectively, according to official data from Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).

In the meantime, foreign investors registered total purchases of SAR 7.22 billion and total sales of SAR 5.5 billion.

Resident investors carried out sales transactions worth SAR 91.8 million. Moreover, the value of swap agreements stood at SAR 8.3 million.

On the contrary, sales deals carried out by local investors amounted to SAR 68.16 billion whilst purchases reached SAR 67.24 billion.

As for GCC investors, sales hit SAR 1.33 billion and purchases totalled SAR 540.05 million.
