KUWAIT CITY - The Public Prosecution has summoned for interrogation some expatriate students following reports of falsifying their secondary school certificates, reports Al-Rai daily quoting knowledgeable education sources.

However, according to the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ministry of Interior no more than ten expatriates are accused of falsifying their documents.

Meanwhile, Egyptian Ministry of Manpower has warned the Egyptian teachers desiring to work in Kuwait, not to fall prey to brokers and fake labor contracts, reports Annahar daily.

This came after the Ministry of Education discovered the promotion of fake contracts which were ‘sold’ for 20,000 Egyptian pounds. The Egyptian Minister of Manpower Mohammad Safa’an was reacting after he received a report from the Egyptian Embassy in Kuwait on the fake labor contracts phenomenon inside Kuwait.

The Labor Consultant Ahmad Yousef said the Kuwait Ministry of Education has warned against dealing with such people and said teachers are hired only through official channels and committees affiliated to the ministry.
