Cairo – Mubasher: US renewable energy network solutions GE company and Egyptian energy company ENPPI have won a $25 million contract for the construction of Assiut transformer station for petroleum refining of the type isolated by gas.

GE will act as the main contractor on behalf of ENPPI and will construct the internal and external facilities required for the building of the new station, which will feed Assiut Oil Refining Company’s Naftha refinery, according to Al-Masry Al-Youm website.

The station will supply high octane fuel to Upper Egypt.

Under the contract between GE and ENPPI signed in December 2018, the project will be completed within 12 months.
