The Dubai Courts of First Instance has issued a verdict in favour of Tihama Advertising and Public Relations Company against Nasser bin Saleh Al Sarami and Kanaen General Trading Company.

The preliminary ruling obligates Nasser bin Saleh Al Sarami to pay Tihama an amount of AED 3.825 million, in addition to the legal interest of 5% from the date of the judicial claim until payment is completed, according to a bourse filing on Tuesday.

Under the court ruling, the Kanaen General Trading Company shall also pay AED 1.217 million to the company, alongside the legal interest at the rate of 5% from the date of judicial claim until full payment.

Tihama has filed a lawsuit against Nasser bin Saleh Al Sarami to claim compensation for the damages he caused while assuming the role of General Manager and board member in Tihama Global Company in Dubai.

Meanwhile, the lawsuit included a claim for Kanaen General Trading Company to pay Tihama an amount of AED 1.217 million to finance the operational activity of Tihama Global Free Zone Company as per a signed contract.
