Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Media Production City posted a slight drop in its net profits during the first nine months of 2019.
The Egyptian firm logged a net profit of EGP 62.48 million in the January-September period, down from EGP 62.58 million in the same period of 2018, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday.
On the other hand, revenues increased to EGP 310.66 million at the end of September, compared to EGP 281.43 million in the year-ago period.
As for the third quarter of 2019, the EGX-listed firm’s net profits declined to EGP 14.34 million from EGP 18 million in Q3-18.
It is worth mentioning that during the first half of 2019, the company’s net profits fell to EGP 48.13 million from EGP 52.6 million in H1-18.
