Over at Dubai Festival City Mall, Imagine is designing a special spectacle of fire, lasers and lights to traditional Saudi tunes and colours.

September 19

A star-studded slew of concerts raised spirits for the occasion. Balqees Fathiat was at City Walk on last Wednesday.

September 20

Shamma Hamdan took the stage at La Mer over the weekend.

September 22

Saudi crooners Ramy Abdullah and Ismail Mubarak will perform at the Dubai Mall today from 8pm to 10:30pm.

September 23

There will be a display of fireworks against a backdrop of the Arabian Gulf at The Beach in JBR and The Pointe at Palm Jumeirah.

The world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa, will also be a part of the city-wide celebrations as it lights up with the Saudi flag on September 23 along with a special Saudi national anthem spectacle at Dubai Fountain.

Saudi artiste Fouad Abdulwahed is also performing at the Dubai Mall on September 23 as part of the Kingdom's National Day celebrations.
